Leveraging Advanced Cyberinfrastructure and Developing Organizational Resilience for NSF Large Facilities in the Pandemic Era
This project explores how large facilities/major facilities (LFs/MFs, e.g., large-scale telescopes, observatories, research fleets) pivoted during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how lessons learned (i.e., new cyberinfrastructure technologies, communication strategies) from this unprecedented crisis can be distilled and diffused among MFs and beyond to cultivate organizational resilience in order to prepare for the next crisis and disaster. This is a collaboration with Ewa Deelman at the Information Sciences Institute at the University of Southern California (under OAC #2042054).
